Mini tennis rackets are used and in many different ways to build up muscle strength to eventually hit the ball. Beanbags are placed in the racket so they can learn to balance. They have to elevate the beanbag into the air and catch it back onto the racket. We swop the beanbag for a plastic soccer ball and the same thing is applied but this time, they have to bounce the ball as continuously as possible. The children have a chance to run and hit the soccer ball so that they get the feel of connecting the racket and their ball without outside interference.
